1. DO NOT SEND MONEY ONLINE (Huwag magpadala ng pera online)

Don’t send money e.g. GCash, Instapay, or other types of fund transfers to any seller you do not know yet. Checking the feedback ratings is one of the ways to check the seller’s activities, however, it is not guaranteed. Always exercise due diligence and your own research before you proceed with any mode of payment.

2. MEET-UP OR PICK UP AT THE SHOP (Mag meet-up o puntahan ang shop)

Meeting up in person or visiting the seller’s shop is the best option to ensure you receive and check the item before accepting it from the seller. Meet in a well-lit location e.g. mall, MRT station, or any safe public place during day hours.

3. TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE IS NOT TRUE (Huwag magtiwala kung kahina-hinala)

Beware of scammy ads all the time. Just like Facebook, BentaMan is also a free and open website. While we make reasonable efforts to monitor or moderate classified ads on our site, we can not moderate all listings in a timely manner. We encourage users to report any suspicious ads on our platform.
